Hi, I am a tutor at Capital Training Kapiti.

I have worked with young people for most of my adult life, initially with under 5’s and then later with international students at Otaki College. I have completed my Level 4 Diploma in Adult and Early Childhood Education as well as a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling and Psychology. I am passionate about young people and working with them to achieve their goals, whether personal, academic, or vocational. I am especially dedicated to supporting youth who have been or are impacted by mental health challenges. I believe every young person has the potential to succeed and it is my goal to support them to reach that potential.

Outside of work I enjoy spending my time with family and friends. I also love crafting and enjoy journaling, scrapbooking, and card making. For a period of about 2 years, I facilitated a craft group called “Creativity over a Cuppa” – an opportunity for getting together with like-minded people and people looking for companionship within our small community. I love to travel, especially in New Zealand.
