Future Pathways Programme

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

Our Future Pathways Programme is a free 26-week course designed to help young people build the skills, confidence and support they need to move into work, further training or study.

You’ll develop practical employment, life and workplace skills, gain industry certificates, explore career options and get hands-on help preparing for work.

You won’t have to figure it all out on your own. You’ll have the amazing support of a Tutor, Youth Worker and Work Broker throughout the programme, all working together to help you find the right job, training or next step for your future.

Industry Training

• First Aid

• Site Safe

• Driver Licence

• Food Safety Standards

• Other industry-specific certificates and training

As well as gain your 10 literacy & numeracy credits if required!

You’ll also have opportunities to explore different career pathways and connect with local employers.

WHO CAN ENROL?

This course is for young people aged 16-24 who want to move into employment, further training or study.

You don’t need any previous qualifications or to have everything figured out yet. If you’re ready to build your skills, confidence and future, Future Pathways can help you get started.

Future Pathways is available at the following centres:

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAMME?

The programme runs 4 days a week for 26 weeks,

Monday to Thursday, from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

But it doesn’t finish there! Once you move into work, study or further training, we’ll continue to support you for another 26 weeks – checking in regularly, making sure things are going well and helping you work through any challenges that come up along the way.

ARE THERE ANY COSTS?

The programme is FREE.

We’ll also provide breakfast and cover your travel costs while you’re attending the course.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

Our goal is to help you get into a job, further training, or study that matches your goals. You can finish the course early if you reach this goal before the 26 weeks are completed.
