I was born and raised in the sunny South Island town of Nelson.

My work journey includes 20+ years of experience working in the hotel sector of hospitality. From reception to function and events; from sales and marketing to duty management. I have worked for multinational hotel brands to independent properties. Working here in Wellington, aboard in the UK and South Africa.

I moved into the home-based sector of Early Childhood Education seven years ago. Supporting families in their search for a home educator or nanny. Mentoring learners through ECE studies, setting up educators to run their own business, working with the Ministry Of Education and Education Review Office to be audit-ready.

Outside of work hours I enjoy swimming, traveling in our VW campervan; supporting our daughter on the sidelines at water polo, basketball, and netball.
