Kia ora! I’m Lisa (Bachelor of Social Science- Sociolinguistics and Anthropology. Grad Dip in Primary Teaching) I grew up in Wellington and am now living here on the Kapiti Coast. I love to travel and have spent much of my adult life jumping between Australia and New Zealand, plus ventured to other parts of the world. I have a varied work history including customer service, bartending, office admin, fruit picking, courier, women’s refuge worker and more recently teaching. I have moved back from Australia (again) with my 7 year old daughter. Our time in Oz was in the beautiful Kimberley region in Northwest Australia (hot!) where I taught in Aboriginal communities. We are settled in, happy to be back with family, enjoying the cooler weather and added a labrador puppy to our home! I enjoy heaps of stuff including drawing, painting, camping, tramping, gardening and cooking.
I am excited to join the Capital Training Team and work with the enthusiastic staff and students within the organization.
